A session built for the whole-job jobs
Not every hanging request fits into a spare twenty minutes. There is the flat that was furnished in one weekend and decorated over the following six months, with every wall item still bagged in a cupboard. There is the house where one floor is finished and the other is a museum of leaning frames. The full wall setup service exists for exactly these jobs: a dedicated session, planned around an agreed list, that treats "getting the walls done" as one coherent project rather than forty separate postponements.
The agreed list: how the session is scoped
Everything starts with the list, agreed with you before the visit — rooms, items, rough sizes and weights, and who is supplying what. That list defines the estimate: a full wall setup session is a defined block of around six hours, sized to work through a substantial list properly, and the price covers the agreed list rather than an open-ended promise to hang whatever turns up. If your list is longer than one session can honestly deliver — a very large house, a whole-home gallery, multiple heavy pieces — we will say so at quoting and propose staging the work across two or more visits. Doing it in honest stages beats rushing the last hour and fitting the final items badly.
How the session runs on the day
We open by walking the list with you, room by room, confirming positions at each wall — a five-minute conversation at the wall saves a re-drill later. Then we work through in a deliberate order: heavy and structural items first, mirrors, shelves and anything substantial, while time and attention are at their best; then the lighter pieces, room by room, so you can see each room arrive at finished as we go. Every item gets its own assessment — wall construction at the fixing point, fixings matched to its weight, likely pipes and cables avoided — because a house's walls differ from room to room and no item is fixed on trust. Positions that will not take a safe fixing are stopped, explained and re-agreed with you rather than forced.
What the session does and does not include
The session covers hanging and fixing, and the making good of the small amount of wall damage that hanging involves where it has been agreed. It does not quietly absorb other trades: no painting, no plastering, no furniture assembly and no electrical work — if we spot something outside the list, we will mention it and it becomes your decision whether it turns into another booking. Items you supply should come with their own brackets and hardware where they have them; anything we need to supply is agreed and quoted separately from the labour before the day.
Preparing the house for a productive session
The session goes fastest where the preparation is done: items unpacked and gathered by room, a list of what goes where — even rough — and the working rooms cleared enough to get ladders and tools in and out freely. You do not need every position decided: we build in time to agree positions at the wall as we go, and for most people the layout conversation is one of the more useful parts of the day.
After the session
Everything we fit is left tested under load and level. Give the heavy items a check after their first week, particularly on plasterboard walls, and keep shelf loads within what was agreed. If anything moves or creaks in the weeks after, call us while it is an adjustment and not a repair. The measure of a setup session is that a month later you have stopped noticing the walls — because everything on them is simply where it should be.
Booking your session
Enquire with your list of rooms and items, and we will tell you plainly whether it fits one session or should be staged over two. Same-day availability cannot be assumed for a session of this length, but shorter-notice slots may exist for smaller lists. Booking is straightforward: the booking fee is paid on booking, the hourly labour rate depends on how soon you need the visit, and the full cost of the agreed list is quoted and approved before we start.
How the price works
We charge a booking fee to hold your slot, then an hourly rate for the work itself. The fee changes with how soon you need us; the hourly rate changes with the slot you choose. You approve the price before we start, so there is no surprise on the invoice.

We diagnose on site
The engineer confirms the cause and tells you what the job involves and how long it should take.
You approve, we work
Nothing goes ahead until you agree the price. Labour is then charged per hour at your slot rate.
Some homes do not need a repair or a single hanging job — they need a concerted effort: a floor's worth of frames, the mirrors that never went up, the shelves still in their boxes. A wall setup session gives that effort a full, planned visit. We agree the list and the rooms with you beforehand, then work through it methodically, one item at a time, until the walls are done.

Questions people ask about full wall setup service
Straight answers to the things customers ask most often before booking.
Is a full wall setup something I could do myself over time?
Gradually, yes — that is what most households do, which is usually why the items are still leaning against the skirting boards. The value of a session is momentum and correctness: every item assessed for its wall and weight, heavy pieces done properly while energy is high, and the whole list finished in one planned effort instead of drifting for another season.
What does a wall setup session include?
Hanging and fixing everything on the list we agree in advance across the rooms you choose — mirrors, frames, shelves, clocks, hooks and curtain rails, with TV mounting if it is on the list — each assessed individually for wall type and weight. It does not include painting, plastering, assembly or electrical work, and anything we spot outside the list becomes your decision, not our assumption.
How many items fit in one session?
A session is a defined block of around six hours, which comfortably covers a substantial list for most homes, but honest numbers depend on the items: twenty light frames go quickly, while several heavy mirrors or a TV each take real time. Send us your list and we will tell you whether it fits one session or should be staged over two visits — we would rather plan that at quoting than rush the finish.
What should I prepare before the session?
Unpack the items and gather them by room, write a rough list of what goes where, and clear enough space in each working room for ladders and tools. You do not need to decide every exact position — we agree those at the wall as we work — but knowing which rooms and roughly what goes where makes the session dramatically more productive.
How much does a full wall setup session cost?
You pay a booking fee when you book, and the hourly labour rate depends on how soon you need the visit, so booking ahead is generally cheaper. We quote the full cost for the agreed list before the session and you approve it. If any fixings, brackets or hardware need to be supplied by us, those are identified and quoted separately from the labour.
